Sit on my face and tell me that you love me
I’ll sit on your face and tell you I love you, too
I love to hear you oralize
When I’m between your thighs
You blow me away

Sit on my face and let my lips embrace you
I’ll sit on your face and then I’ll love you truly
Life can be fine if we both sixty-nine
If we sit on our faces in all sorts of places
And play, ‘til we’re blown away

On October 11, IRON MAIDEN fans the world over will have something new to get excited about as the newly re-launched Restless Records releases «Numbers from the Beast: An All Star Salute to Iron Maiden», a tribute to the legendary band. The album, which features MAIDEN‘s own Paul Di’Anno and marks Restless‘ return to its metal and punk roots, is produced by Grammy award winner and tribute album pioneer Bob Kulick (KISS, METALLICA, AEROSMITH), along with Brett Chassen, and features appearances from current or former members of IRON MAIDEN, KISS, AC/DC, MOTÖRHEAD, ANTHRAX, DIO, JUDAS PRIEST, TESTAMENT, TWISTED SISTER, EXTREME, WHITESNAKE, SLAUGHTER, HELMET, DOKKEN and many others.

«It’s a fitting salute to an awesome band and may be the best tribute I’ve ever produced. I really like what we’ve done to these amazing songs, and more importantly, the band approves,» says Kulick of the album.

«Numbers from the Beast» features 11 classic IRON MAIDEN tunes revamped in honor of the band’s 25th anniversary. The final track listing is as follows:

  1. Run to the Hills
  2. Wasted Years
  3. Wrathchild

The cover of every official IRON MAIDEN album has featured a zombie called «EddieEddie has been painted by artist Derek Riggs for 20 years. «Numbers from the Beast» cover art was naturally painted by Riggs and is a must-have for any MAIDEN fan.

«Numbers from the Beast» marks the first release on the newly revamped Restless Records. William Hein, current president of Rykodisc and former head of Enigma Records, co-founded Restless in 1985 as a punk and metal sub-label of Enigma. Restless became a stand-alone label after CapitolEMI acquired Enigma, and was subsequently acquired by Rykodisc in 2003. Now, back with a new sound and logo, Restless returns to its roots with the MAIDEN salute, as well as an upcoming reissue from California punk outfit 45 GRAVE.

RINGERS had the best access to «Rings» luminaries that any documentarian could hope for. As the scope of the film broadened to include the worlds of music and fantasy literature, efforts to secure interviews with the best and brightest of those worlds were met with «Yes, I’d love to!» from all quarters (Ralph Bakshi being a notable exception). Authors such as Clive Barker and Terry Pratchett offered exclusive interviews, bringing to the table their keen insight into Tolkien’s literary legacy. While David Carradine provided a bracing portrait of the 60s generation and their adoration of Tolkien. Rock legends Geddy Lee (RUSH) and Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead) quickly came on board, explaining first-hand how the Rock scene shifted under the weight of Tolkien’s high-fantasy influence. Carlene knew the lines between pop culture and literary masterpiece had blurred together decades ago, but for the first time several key players in this phenomenon were able to explain how it happened.

The heartbeat of RINGERS is in its Rock soundtrack, and the director wanted nothing less than wall-to-wall music. [Editor Arnaud Gerardy] carefully edited to the rhythm of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Ramble On’ and RUSH’s ‘Rivendell’…

La novedad consiste en que el 22 de Noviembre estará disponible en DVD y UMD, para quien le interese:

In association with the popular fan-site TheOneRing.net, Carlene Cordova produced, directed and wrote this award-winning film with executive producer Tom DeSanto (X-Men, X2: X-Men United and Transformers), which charts the incredible influence and ripple-effect that Lord of the Rings has had on worldwide pop culture over the past five decades. Whether you are a fan or first timer, critics agree, RINGERS, stands as the most comprehensive film documenting the ongoing impact of J.R.R. Tolkien?s literary achievement. Ozzy Osbourne on trial for murder

Thursday, 22nd September 2005, 16:24

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) – A rock fanatic who changed his name to Ozzy Osbourne stabbed a friend to death inside his own flat, a court heard today.

Gary Ozzy Osbourne, 42, was born Gary Bacon – but changed his name by deed poll to mirror that of the rock star, the Old Bailey heard.

In January last year, he drove to the home in Enfield, north London, of Gary Hunt – a 33-year old small-time drug dealer who Osbourne had been friends with for a number of years, the jury was told.

Mr Hunt, a keen DJ, was described by friends as being «easy-going» and someone who «wouldn’t do any harm or hurt anyone» – but he and Osbourne had a row, it was alleged.

Osbourne then stabbed him a number of times and left him fatally injured, the court heard.

«What caused him to lose his control is something only he knows», said Mark Dennis, prosecuting. «It may have been an argument over drugs or a personal matter.»

Osbourne then confessed to what he had done to two people over the following days, the jury heard.

Mr Dennis said of the defendant: «He was born Gary Bacon but a few years ago he changed his name to mirror that of a former rock musician.»

Osbourne, of Derby, denies murder.

The trial continues.
