El texto, sacado de Waxy.org, comenta sobre el proyecto que hasta la fecha parece ser algo que no había salido de Usenet y que es ilegal, hecho que explica brevemente:
This data is almost certainly a violation of Billboard’s copyright, and probably infringes on Record Research’s books too.
De cualquier manera me parece una información bastante curiosa. En el blog señalado se construyó un análisis estadístico sobre «One-Hit Wonders and Pop Longevity» y constituye un ejemplo interesante de utilización de los datos del Whitburn Project.
